Golden milk

Golden milk is a warm, comforting turmeric drink made with simple spices and milk of your choice. It’s creamy, cozy, and perfect for evenings, cold days, or slow mornings.

This recipe is naturally caffeine-free and can be made dairy-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, or milk of choice

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon ginger powder or fresh grated ginger

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Optional: stevia, monk fruit, or a small amount of honey

Instructions

  1. Add milk to a small saucepan.

  2. Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and vanilla.

  3. Warm over low heat for 3–5 minutes. Do not boil.

  4. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

  5. Pour into a mug and serve warm.

Wellness Note

Black pepper helps balance the turmeric flavor and makes the drink warmer and more complex. Use unsweetened milk to keep it lower in sugar.
